How we Work

Either bring your watch in to our Tring Customer Service Centre, where we will provide an on the spot assessment or request a price quotation using the enquiry form.

When you bring your watch in to our workshop, you will be met by one of our knowledgeable Customer Service Staff, who will give you an on the spot assessment and a quotation for the service/repair. We can replace batteries/reseal and fit straps while you wait. For servicing and most other repairs we offer a 24 hour and a 7 day service.

All repairs are undertaken by our team of highly trained and experienced watchmakers on the premises. All work is fully guaranteed and insured if being posted back to you. We will call you when your watch is ready to collect.

Requests for Quotations:

We respond to web enquiries within 24 hours with an indicative price based on the information provided. If you then decide to proceed, post your watch to us by secure delivery including appropriate insurance. We use special delivery via Royal Mail.

When we receive your watch, we will examine it and confirm the exact repair cost by e-mail. We will only undertake the repair, once you have confirmed (by e-mail) that you accept the price, otherwise your watch will be returned to you.

Should any new part be required, we will retain the used part.

Should your watch require manufacturers parts, your repair may be subject to a delay.

At Watch Doctors we service and repair all major brands of Swiss and Japanese quartz and mechanical watches on the premises.

All of our watch servicing work is fully guaranteed.

We hold a large stock of parts allowing us to service both current and old models quickly, so you don't have to wait long to get your watch back. Parts can even be made for obsolete models, enabling us to repair most watches even when the manufacturer cannot!

Cleaning the movement, watch case and bracelet

Replacement of battery plus re sealing of watch

Resealing to specified pressure depth

Replace Battery & Reseal ( while you wait service, from £15)

Watch will be resealed to manufacturers specified pressure (usually stated on the back of the watch)

Replace Button and Stem ( 24 hour service, from £15)

Watchstraps & Bracelets

We hold a large stock of straps and bracelets in stock

Remove and replace spring bars (while you wait, price £5)

Supply new clasp/links - from £15, (leadtimes vary by manufacturer)

Hands Replacement (24 hours)

Watch Glasses can be replaced from £15
